Case Number 8

A 61 year white female was found to have a 4 to 5cm breast lesion, with slight skin dimpling. The mammogram was suspicious, but not diagnostic. The patient was taking Premarin 0.625mg 6 days per week for 20 years.

Biopsy results revealed duct cell carcinoma and fibrocystic breast disease. Her receptor values were: Estrogen- 50 Femoles, Progesterone- Less than 1 Femole.
